To begin using the GlobalDatabase HubSpot integration, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the GlobalDatabase platform and go to the Integrations section.
2. Locate the HubSpot application and click Connect.

1. You will be redirected to HubSpot’s authorization page. Select the HubSpot account you want to integrate.
2. Grant the necessary permissions by clicking Authorize.
3. Once authorization is successful, you will be redirected back to GlobalDatabase, where you will see a confirmation message.

After connecting your accounts, the next step is to map data fields. This ensures that the information transferred from GlobalDatabase is stored correctly in HubSpot.

1. In GlobalDatabase, go to the HubSpot Integration Settings.
2. Click on Field Mapping.
3. A list of GlobalDatabase fields and corresponding HubSpot fields will be displayed.
4. Adjust the mappings by selecting the appropriate HubSpot field for each GlobalDatabase data point.
5. Click Save to apply the mapping settings.

Best Practices:

1. Ensure key fields such as company name, email, and phone number are correctly mapped.
2. Avoid overwriting important HubSpot data unless necessary.

To fully utilize GlobalDatabase data, you may need to create custom fields in HubSpot. Follow these steps to do so:

1. In HubSpot, navigate to Settings > Properties.
2. Select Create Property.
3. Choose the object type (Company, Contact, or Deal) that the field will belong to.
4. Define the property name, type (text, number, dropdown, etc.), and description.
5. Click Save.

Tip: If you frequently enrich your contacts with industry-specific data, create custom fields that match the GlobalDatabase attributes.
