Challenge
As Vanta expanded globally, the operations and compliance teams identified a major bottleneck:
- VAT ID collection and validation for international clients (particularly in the EU, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand) was manual and inconsistent.
- Enriching company records with official identifiers was essential for internal operations, reporting, and regulatory purposes.
- This information needed to be available directly in Salesforce (SFDC), where customer data is managed.
